Learning from James

James 1: 19-20 says My brothers take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man’s anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires. Wow I will be keeping this in mind the next time I am moving in the direction of anger. I also need to keep the quick to listen and slow to speak. I so very often want to retract my words so if I thought before speaking would that not be a novel idea? Live the life out of today and stay warm if you live in Maine.

  1. Ha ha, my Husband will like it a lot:) am wondering whether I should pass on this wisdom to him, or keep it to myself (with an attempt to turn it into action;)
