Walking on a path with ice containing some great views

Today I hiked the same path as last week but added the entire Kebo Brook Trail and then walked the entire trail back to the Great Meadow and then back home by the extension road.  It was a colder day than last week and the wind made it at times a little uncomfortable.  The views were great and I am posting some photos from the newly discovered favorite hiking trail named Homan’s Path Trail.

The above photo is a great photo of the Great Meadow.  I walk along the other end of this meadow weekly.  The islands at the top of the photo are part of the Porquipine Islands.

It was a little icy on some of the paths today.  But due to the great crew creating these trails there were larger rock along the path that allowed you to avoid the icy pathway!

This wall of ice had water running down underneath the ice…it was neat to watch.
