Today I hiked Jordan pond again. It was hiked backwards with two friends. It still amazes me when you hike a trail the opposite direction that you normally hike how it seems to be a totally new hike. We hiked for one hour and forty five minutes. It was a warm evening but very pleasant. The loons were acting loony on the pond. We heard them call and then we thought people were using a loon app to send more loon talk across the lake. We saw a little baby turtle along the walk. We also saw two boys that were hiking along the path with a beaver swimming along the edge just a head of them. It was really cute. The pond was very calm and beautiful.
We shared scripture along the far shore about guidance. How can we see God’s direction in our lives.
We shared Psalm 16 and Psalm 32:8 and also Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. It is amazing to be reminded to focus on Him and our lives will fall into place. He created an amazing place here on MDI and we are blessed to live here.
