Hike number 49 of 52 challenge Pemetic Mtn

Today I hiked Pemetic Mountain starting at Jordan Pond.  It is 1248 feet high and it took three and a half hours to hike it.

From Jordan Pond I walked along the pond to the right and then took the Jordan carrying trail towards the mountain.  I had to head towards the Bubble Mtn parking lot and then once I got to the lot I crossed the road.  At this point I picked up a very steep trail called the Pemetic NW trail.  It was a steady climb with two of the steepest areas inthe photo below.

Some of the view from the climb.

It was such a pretty day.  I got to the summit and met a family from away that were visiting this week.  We had made no plans to meet at the summit yet we found ourselves both having climbed the same trail only about twenty minutes apart.   WOW it was really fun to see them and climb down the other side together.
