Today I hiked on Trek 5 around MDI with two friends. It was cold but it was sunny and we had fun.
Started in Northeast Harbor harbor
We headed towards Sargent’s Drive following the roads along the shore. It was a cold day about 17 degrees with a strong wind at times.
We do enjoy winter in Maine for sure!
We walked 6.7 miles and it took us 2 hours and ten minutes. We did not pause very long due to it being cold. When I took off my gloves to take photos I thought I would get frost bite immediately.
Took a photo of the ice along the cliffs and the amazing iconic tree along Sargent Drive.
