Cold day in Maine only 9 degrees but the sun felt great. The crunch on the snow was a nice sound in the quiet. I tried to walk in other footprints as I walked along the path. It at times was easy to set my foot inside the print but at other times if I did not keep my focus I was walking outside the prints.
The ice had been broken up so that some of the water would flow away from the gardens that were flooded.
The ice got lodged in the bushes and this is the area where wind really picked up.
The shadows and sparkle on the snow was very pretty. So glad I made the effort to get outside.
